A research report shows that ethnic minority women in the United States are suffering from domestic violence.
Recently, a report issued by the AVOICE team (Against Violence to Overseas Chinese Women Program) shows that the number of domestic violence cases among new immigrants in the United States is on the rise in recent years. Liu Yuanfen, director-general of the LiXin Maternal and Child Care Center in New York City, has said that of the calls given to the police in New York City in one year, 270000 were due to domestic violence.
